Alcario Castellano Emeritus Trustee

Was born in Artesia, New Mexico. Upon graduation from high school in Hollister, Al joined the U. S. Army. Al worked in the aerospace industry and as a supermarket retail clerk until his retirement in 1990. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Latinas Contra Cancer. Al has also served on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and the American GI Forum. He has also done much volunteer work, and has a large collection of photographs and videos. Upon receiving a very large Lotto winning, Al and Carmen established the Castellano Family Foundation in December 2001. The Foundation has awarded grants to more than 140 organizations totaling over $3.2 million dollars.
