Director of Programs & Operations
Angie Briones has more than 25 years of executive leadership, senior management and consulting experience in the nonprofit sector with expertise in change management and transitions, strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, and administration. She has worked with diverse nonprofit organizations in Silicon Valley and throughout the Southwest helping them develop and fund programs to improve educational, employment, housing, and economic opportunities for Latinos and other low-income people. Angie has more than 12 years of experience in philanthropy with a focus on corporate and foundation relations. She held previous positions as Program Officer for The Health Trust and Regional Grantmaking Consultant for the Levi Strauss Foundation. Angie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stanford University and a Master in Public Administration from San Jose State University. She currently serves on the board of Jose Valdes Math Foundation, is a former director of the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits, and holds a concurrent part-time position as Development Director at ConXión to Community.
The Spring 2018 Grant Cycle is now open! LOIs are due by midnight on Monday, February 12.
If your LOI is approved, the full application will be due by midnight on Monday, March 5. Funding decisions will be made in April and awards will be disbursed by June.
If your grant period ends between December 31, 2017 and June 30, 2018, you are eligible to apply in this cycle.
