Alcario and his wife Carmen have received numerous awards and recognitions including Cornerstone of the Arts Award from the City of San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs, HFSV La Familia Award, PACT Leadership in Action Award, Latino Heritage Leadership Award, Premio Tequio from the Mexican Consulate, Distinguished Philanthropist of the Year Award from the Latino Community Foundation, Si Se Puede Award from the Chavez Family Foundation, Portraits of Success Award, and ABBY Award from the Arts Council Silicon Valley.
